HOW TO CHOOSE A LED SCREEN FOR YOUR EVENT?
When hiring an LED screen, what aspects to consider when choosing the right LED screen for your event.
In order to help you choose the optimal LED screen in terms of value for money, or to make a successful choice of LED screens, we give you some expert advice to keep in mind.
HOW MUCH A
LED DISPLAY RESOLUTION?
The distance between the centre of two pixels is one of the most important parameters of the LED module.
The smaller the LED, the higher the pixel density, the more information per unit area can be displayed at once, and the more beautiful the image.
For common indoor LED screen applications, SMD P4.8mm, SMD P3.9mm, SMD P2.6mm, SMD P 2.0mm, etc.
For the common outdoor LED screen, SMD P4.8mm, SMD P 5mm, SMD P6.25mm, SMD P8mm, SMD P10mm, SMD P 12mm, etc.
The smaller the dot pitch, the better and higher the resolution, resulting in a more detailed image display.
If the LED display is mounted in a high place and the viewing distance of the audience is relatively long, more than 50 meters, such as at a concert, etc., this SMD P 6, SMD P8 or SMD P10 will meet the requirements.
VISIBILITY DISTANCE
FOR LED DISPLAY
The viewing distance is an important value for selecting the interval between two possible LED pixels. For example, if you have an outdoor 3 x 2 m LED screen, you can choose a pixel pitch of 10 mm if you want optimal visibility from a distance of 8 m. But if you want to reduce the viewing distance, bringing it closer, it is more appropriate to choose a pixel pitch of P 8 mm or P 6 mm.
HOW TO CHOOSE THE
LED WALL DISPLAY POINT DISTRIBUTION?
The choice of LED wall dot pitch depends on two factors:
1. The visibility of the LED wall
Where the LED screen is positioned and how far the audience can see it is an important factor in determining the point spacing when selecting the LED screen.

If the viewing distance is closer to the minimum distance, you can distinguish the pixels of the LED wall. If the graininess is stronger, you should stand away from the LED screen. Well, the human eye cannot distinguish the detail features.
INDOOR OR OUTDOOR
LED SCREEN?
Indoor LED screens feature smaller pixel pitch and lower brightness and are not weatherproof. Outdoor LED screens have a larger pixel pitch but also a higher luminosity, so they are visible in sunlight and resistant to rain. It follows that an outdoor wall can be used indoors, but unfortunately not vice versa.
SHAPES
LED screens are made up of 50×50 or 50×100 cm cabinets. Customers usually request a 16:9 aspect ratio LED screen, but it is often necessary to install a different aspect ratio than the standard resolution. For example, an LED perimeter, which is an advertising strip on the edge of a sports field, or an LED gate when a gate-shaped LED needs to be assembled.
Often a quite large LED screen has to be assembled and a film or presentation has to be inserted into a background animation using a picture-in-picture procedure. In addition, you can also assemble columns, strips and other shapes that can be built from 50×50 cm cubes. Furthermore, there are graduated Led modules which allow you to install the modules in a curved arrangement.
INSTALLATION
There are several ways to mount LED screens. It can be suspended, e.g. at a concert or in a building where the load-bearing capacity of the ceiling beams can support a weight of about 40kg/m2. If there is no hanging possibility, a support structure can be built to which the LED screens can be screwed. Outdoor installations are a much more complex issue, as the devices need to be protected from the increasingly common gale force winds. To do this, either a so-called Layher stand or an aluminium Truss gate must be built, which is statically suitable and this must be properly secured and weighted.
CORPORATE EVENTS:
One of the most spectacular events. Christmas parties, corporate receptions, kick-off and team building events. We can help you plan the spectacle, taking into account your venue and budget. We can decorate your venue with decorative lights, robotic lights and smoke machines to create the perfect atmosphere, sound and stage set-up. We use projectors or LED screens (creative layout of LED screens) to get the message across to your guests.
CONFERENCES
We use large projector screens or LED screens to project presentations and live images, controlled by a studio system. Speakers are heard through professional sound equipment. Lighting technology complements the AV system, highlighting the stage and decorating the room with decorative lights. The conference can be followed remotely via our streaming system.
SPORT EVENTS:
Traditional and Esport competitions. Our Audio-Video system allows us to provide services both indoors and outdoors. Outdoors, the scoreboard is displayed with LED screens and the advertising is displayed with LED perimeter. Our IT equipment allows us to provide temporary competition office, scorekeeping and display, internet setup according to the needs of sports federations.
EXHIBITION BOOTHS:
Exhibition booths complemented by visual and lighting elements. High-resolution LED screens for close-up viewing, LED posters, huge TVs up to 85″ in diameter, IT equipments, TABLETS and many LED lights to add colour to the booths.
